Rustins Stain Blocker Spray Paint White 400ml

Rustins Stain Blocker Spray has a matt white finish for interior and exterior use on wood, plaster and previously painted surfaces. It will seal all stains that may bleed through and discolour paint. As a primer, it provides excellent adhesion to ceramic tiles, glass, and melamine. It can be painted with any type of paint and undercoat when dry.

Type: Solvent-based paint supplied in an aerosol form containing a high pigment loading to provide excellent stain-blocking properties.
Intended Use: It can be applied over asphalt, bitumen, crayon, creosote, graffiti, nicotine, rust, soot, tannin and water stains.

Rustins Stain Blocker Spray Paint White Instructions

Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from any grease or wax. Clean with water and detergent, rinsing with clean water. Remove any loose paint before applying Stain Blocker.
Application: SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area. If using outside, avoid spraying if it is very windy or in dusty conditions. Shake can vigorously for approximately one minute from when the mixing balls start rattling. Continue shaking during use. Hold can upright approximately twelve inches from item spraying in a back and forth motion whilst spraying. Apply 2 or more light coats leaving a few minutes apart for each coat.
Coats: One coat is recommended but a second coat can be applied if staining is severe.
Drying Time: Touch dry in 30 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity.
Application Temp: Ideally 15-25°C, do not use below 10°C or in conditions of high humidity.
Re-coating Time: The surface will be dust dry after 30 minutes and can be handled after 1-2 hours. Allow longer during cooler temperatures. Re-coat after 1 hour.
Clean up: When finished spraying, turn can upside down and spray to prevent clogging of the nozzle.
Clean up paint with Rustins Xylene Thinners. If spray nozzle clogs, remove and clean using Rustins Xylene Thinners.

IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. 
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Call a POISON CENTER/doctor if you feel unwell. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50C/122F. 
Repeated exposure ma cause skin dryness or cracking. Warning! Hazardous respirable droplets may be formed when sprayed. Do not breathe spray or mist.
