Rustins Quick Dry Brilliant White Gloss Paint is abrilliant white water based hardwearing paint for interior and exterior use that is touch dry in approximately 30 minutes. Suitable for use on wood and metal. Conforms to the Toys (Safety) Regulations 1995, BS:EN71 Part 3.

Intended Use: A decorative coating for application over Rustins Quick Drying Primer Undercoat or over existing paints and varnishes on wood and metal. For interior and exterior use.
Type An acrylic emulsion based paint. The finish produced is tough, durable and resistant to oil and water.Special Features Quick drying and low odour. Conforms to the Toy Safety Regulations BS EN 71 Part 3

Rustins Quick Dry White Gloss Paint

Preparation: The surface must be clean, smooth, sound, dry and free from wax, dust and contaminants. If the wood or metal surface is bare, apply the appropriate primer and undercoat before painting. On metal use Rustin’s Red Oxide Metal Primer. On wood use Rustin’s Quick Drying Primer and Undercoat. Prior to painting, existing coated surfaces should be cleaned with Rustin’s Surface Cleaner, or Rustins Sugar Soap and sanded lightly to provide a key, prior to painting. Cracks may be filled with Rustin’s Wood filler. Undercoat may be applied if required.
Application: Apply light, even coats using a good quality brush for water-based coatings.
Coats: 1 coat is sufficient but a second coat may be applied if required. It is better to apply two light coats rather than one heavy coat.
Drying Time: Touch dry within 30 minutes, depending on the temperature and humidity.Re-coating Time: 3-4 hours, depending on the temperature and humidity.
Application Temp: Ideally, 15-25°C. Do not use below 10°C or in conditions of high humidity or if rain is imminent.
Maintenance: The surface may be cleaned with a mild detergent solution or White Spirit as necessary. Worn areas may be re-coated once cleaned and lightly sanded to provide a key.
Compatibility: Compatible over most types of undercoat. Can be applied over top coats once thoroughly cleaned and lightly sanded to provide a key.
Settlement: STIR WELL BEFORE USE
Clean-Up: Remove excess product from brushes before cleaning. Clean brushes whilst wet with water. Hard brushes can be cleaned with Rustins Brush Restorer.
