Repels snow, rain and moisture, and creates a durable barrier to water that keeps clothing and gear drier for longer. Its long-lasting protection leaves fabrics breathable
Ideal for use on Tents, backpacks, patio furniture, outerwear, cotton and cotton blends, sporting gear, boat covers, canvas etc.
Note: Use of this product on shoes with white rubber soles may cause the rubber to yellow. Should this happen, treat the yellowed area as soon as possible with rubbing alcohol.
Warning: Treatment of fabrics with this product may reduce their flame-retardant characteristics.

Scotchgard Heavy Duty Water Shield 400ml Usage Instructions:
Directions:
1. Protect surrounding non-fabric materials from overspray. If overspray occurs, quickly wipe up.
2. Shake can well. Apply only to clean, dry articles.
3. Test for colour fastness. Spray in an inconspicuous area and allow the article to dry completely to check for colour change. May give the fabric a slightly darker, richer tone.
4. Spray with a slow sweeping motion 15 to 20cm away from the article. Cover the article uniformly but do not saturate.
5. Allow the article to dry completely before using.
6. Reapply seasonally or as needed and after cleaning to maintain repellency.
Coverage: coverage per can varies with fabric type: from about 5.5m2 for light nylon to about 1.8m2 for heavier fabrics.
