For best results, it is recommended that painting with Hotspot Stove Paint is performed outdoors or in a well ventilated garage or shed away from items that can be affected by paint drift. To prevent inhalation, use a suitable mask.
1. Ensure surface to be treated is cool and fire is out.
2. Remove all rust, scale and dirt with abrasive paper and/or wire brush.
3. Degrease and check surface is dry before painting.
4. Mask area not to be painted. If painting is to be performed in situ, carefully mask off any areas that do not require painting, cover all soft furnishings and ventilate room. Leave protective covers down for at least one hour after painting.
Before spraying, shake can vigorously for one minute and again between bursts
