Hotspot Pre Cut Lagging Rope 12mm x 1.5m

Hotspot Lagging Rope is a glass fibre woven general use rope for fitting between surfaces, firebacks and where any gap is needed to be filled with a flexible expansion material that has insulation qualities.

Size: 12mm (1.2cm) x 1.5 metres approx.

Hotspot Pre Cut Lagging Rope Usage Instructions

1. Where Hotspot Lagging Rope is to be fixed to a vertical surface use a heat resistant adhesive (such as Hotspot Heatbond Rope Fixative) sparingly to only one side of the rope to hold it in place. Rope should be compressed as the two surfaces are brought together. 
2. When filling a gap Hotspot Lagging Rope should be compressed and pushed firmly into the area to be filled and allowed to expand. repeat process until gap is filled. 

If necessary, use a heat resistant adhesive to hold in place.
