Abbey 1982 Saddlebalm has been developed from a recipe going back to 1882, Abbey Saddlebalm puts back into the leather all the goodness taken out by the weather and rigours of use. Abbey 1982 Saddlebalm can be used straight out of the pot but for best results it should be applied when melted. It is also excellent for boots, bridles, luggage, gun cases and all working leathers.

Abbey 1982 Saddlebalm Usage Instructions
1. The saddle leathers should be damp-sponged, or if necessary, cleaned with a good quality Saddle Soap.
2. Then when still moist, Abbey 1982 Saddlebalm should be applied evenly with a cloth or brush to both the flesh and grain surfaces.
3. Moistening the saddle surface ensures that the lubricating components are carried to the inner fibers of the leather.
4. After leaving the saddle in a cool place for 8-12 hours (overnight), the grain surface can be brushed up to a high gloss with a dry cloth or stiff brush.
