Rustins Rust Remover 125ml

Rustins Rust Remover removes surface rust from mild steel and iron products. Ideal for use on garden gates, bicycles, cars and all ferrous metal objects around the home. Also can be used to clean brass, copper and bronze.

Can also be used on new galvanised steel to act as a mordant solution, and on aluminium to etch a surface.

Rustins Rust Remover Usage Instructions

Wipe surface free from grease and remove loose rust with a wire brush, scrapper or Rustins Steel Wool. Old or flaking paint which may be hiding rust, should be removed with Rustins Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper.

Apply Rust Remover Liberally with a brush and leave until the rust has been dissolved or until dry. ( A colour change from brown to grey will occur).
If rust is thick a second application may be required. Small items may be dipped. Before re-painting wipe with methylated sprits

Clean brushes with water.
