Application: Using a rag or brush, apply an even coat and wipe off any excess. The result will be much darker on softwoods than on hardwoods. For a lighter shade, dilute with White Spirit, 2 parts dye to 1 part White Spirit. Before use check that the colour is what is required .
Coats: Usually 1 application is sufficient, or 2 for a darker colour.
Drying Time: A few hours under good conditions, but will depend on ambient temperature, humidity and the absorbency of the wood.
