Briwax Original Wax Polish Slate Grey 400g
1. Improved shine and durability can be achieved by first sealing the surface with a Briwax Sanding Sealer
2. For antiques and pre-finished furniture, first check compatibility, then apply Briwax in small areas with a clean soft cloth.
3. The Briwax finish can be maintained by further applications which will give increased hardness and shine.
4. This product is not recommended for use in areas where it will come into contact with water.
Intended Use: Provides a natural sheen to sealed wood. Used for restoration of antique furniture. Always check compatibility with antique furniture and pre-finished furniture.
Application: Apply to the surface with a soft lint-free cloth or 0000 Briwax Steel Wool working with the grain. Once dry, buff with a lint-free cotton cloth to achieve the desired finish.
Coats: One coat is usually sufficient but a second coat may be applied to obtain a higher sheen.
Drying Time: Quick drying.
Re-coating Time: Re-apply if required after a few minutes.
Application Temp: Ideally 15-25° C
Maintenance: Re-apply when necessary.
Compatibility: Compatible with all types of timber finishes. For best results and to prevent a blotchy appearance timber should always be previously sealed with a varnish, oil or Briwax Shellac Sanding Sealer. The product is not designed for use in areas where it will come into contact with water.
Clean-Up: Hands and application cloth can be cleaned in warm soapy water.
