Rustins Quick Dry Worktop Oil Usage Instructions
Intended Use For all kind of interior hardwood and kitchen worktops.
Preparation The surface must be clean, smooth, dry and free from wax, dust and contaminants. Remove wax by scrubbing with White Spirit or Rustin’s Surface Cleaner and a scouring pad, then wipe away whilst still wet with clean rags. Existing oil should be removed with Rustin’s Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper. Bare wood may be dyed before coating with Rustin’s Wood Dye.
Application Apply liberally with a clean rag or brush and wipe off the surplus oil after a few minutes. The first coat should be applied liberally with a brush and allowed to dry without wiping. Some wood may need sanding between two coats.
