Scotchgard Fabric Water Shield 400ml

Scotchgard Fabric Water Shield provides long lasting protection and waterproofs fabrics. Whether it's a dress, a brand-new sofa or car seat covers, Scotchgard Water Shield helps repel liquids and block stains without changing the look and feel of the fabric. It does this by forming an invisible barrier that works to repel liquids such as rain, wine and coffee, thus providing long-lasting protection against stains.

This fabric protector comes in a handy spray can of 400 ml. It is ideal for use on household items such as curtains, pillows and table cloths, as well as clothing items including shirts, jackets, ties and suits. The spray is safe for use on delicate fabrics like silk and wool, and it doesn't impede their breathability.

Coverage: 1 can = 1 average sofa or 2 chairs or 5 jackets. Coverage varies with size, fabric type and amount applied.

Do not use on carpet, leather, finished wood or plastic.

Scotchgard Fabric Water Shield Usage Instructions

1. Protect surrounding non-fabric materials from overspray. If overspray occurs, quickly wipe up.
2. Shake can well, apply only to clean, dry articles.
3. Test for colour fastness, spray in an inconspicuous area and allow article to dry completely to check for colour change.
May give fabric a slightly darker, richer tone.
4. Hold can upright 15cm from fabric surface, overlap spray using a slow sweeping motion. 2 light coats are better than 1 heavy coating.
5. Allow to dry betwen coats
6. Re-apply after every clean or annually to maintain protection.

Durability of protection varies with wear.
